At Altum Pilates, we honour these Classical principles while also recognising the value of contemporary Pilates methods, which may incorporate variations to cater to diverse needs and goals. Both approaches offer unique benefits, and our studio strives to provide a supportive environment where clients can explore and experience the full spectrum of Pilates practices.

Are your classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, the best part about Pilates is that it’s suitable for individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds. Our teachers are trained to tailor sessions to meet each individual's needs and abilities, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience for everyone. You’ll be challenged, but feel strong and successful after each session.

We’d recommend booking a private class with us first, before joining us at group classes when you’re more familiar with the techniques.

What should I wear to class?

Feel free to wear comfortable workout attire that enables ease of movement and allows us to observe your body alignment. While we encourage barefoot training to enhance your neurosense through skin contact with surfaces, you're welcome to wear grip socks if you prefer.

What are your class environments like?

We prioritise the authentic teachings of Joseph Pilates, which emphasise mindful movement and breath control. Our studio provides a serene environment conducive to focused practice, without the distraction of loud music. Expect something tranquil and peaceful, to contrast the challenge your body will be put through in class!

What is the expiry date of class packages?

Our class packages typically have expiry dates to encourage consistent attendance and progress. Our 10-session package expires within 3 months. If you purchase a new package before the expiry date, any remaining sessions will be carried forward to the new package.

How do I book a class?

To book your first class, you have a few options: You can conveniently purchase a package of your choice on our website and then proceed to book your first class after. Alternatively, you can directly WhatsApp us, and we'll be happy to facilitate your booking for you.
